anybody believe blessed ethic finest gone greatest record remarkable running seen single skill terrific work
He's a remarkable combination of terrific skill blessed by God, a work ethic unparalleled by anybody I've been around. And his single greatest asset, in my opinion, is his pride. I've gone on record before, and I believe this, that he's the finest running back that I've seen in football.
believe certainty defensive era finest guys jim mammoth people playing pounds running seen weigh
I believe with a certainty, in my opinion, he is the finest running back I have ever seen in professional football. And I know people say: 'Well what about Jim Brown? And what about Gale Sayers?' That's all well and good, but I tell you what, in the era that we're in now where you have defensive linemen that weigh 300 pounds and run 4.75, and these mammoth guys that are playing linebacker, I think with a certainty, in my opinion, he is the finest running back that I have ever seen.
finest kansas running seen
He's the finest running back that I've seen in football. We had Marcus Allen, of course, in Kansas City. But he's the finest that I've ever seen.
believe best diego early reference running san seen threw year
Early on, while here in San Diego my first year or so, I used to reference him as one of the best I have ever seen. A year ago when (he was) injured, I threw the caveat away and said I believe he is the best running back I have ever seen in professional football.
absolutely believe best diego driven early given pride reference running san seen success threw wants year
Early on while here in San Diego . . . I used to reference him as one of the best I have ever seen. A year ago, when (he was) injured, I threw away that caveat, and said I believe he is the best running back I have ever seen in professional football. The best part about it, given all the success he has had, he is absolutely driven by one thing and that is a pride that he wants to be the best.
al coming gold good league middle nice plus seen williams wilson
Al Wilson to me is as good a middle linebacker as I've seen in this league in a long time. I think Ian Gold coming back for them has been a big plus for them, and D.J. Williams has done a nice job.
designed era four people three win
To be able to do what they have done in an era in which everything is designed to get people to be .500 win-loss percentage, and they go out and win three championships in four years, to me that's remarkable.
area believe fact football light might perform question team today year
We did not perform well in any area today and that's awfully disappointing for all of us. We're a better football team than we were a year ago. I believe that. Some might question that in light of the fact that we didn't play very well today.
entire needs player stay throughout
If a player is on the sideline, he needs to stay there throughout the entire game.
finished found picked proud today
We finished things off today and picked up a big win. We battled and found a way. I couldn't be more proud of our men.
cannot complacent games good playing winning
We cannot be complacent with playing good but not winning games.
battle coming knew lived overall performance pleased
We knew coming in this was going to be a battle and it lived up to that...I was pleased with the overall performance of the team.
controlled huge invited last pulling today win
We controlled what we could today by pulling out a huge victory. We're still going to try to win the last two and see if we get invited when it's over. That's all we can do.
improve
We're very disappointed, but we are going to look at and see what we can do to improve for this week.
