combat five job pass run send six staff stuff tough ways
What they do is stuff the run on first down and get you in 2nd-and-long. Then you try to pass and they'll send five or six guys. They can really put you in some tough spots. It's our job as a staff to come up with ways to combat it.
coaching consistent discipline exactly issues job needs people physical putting quite understanding
It's not physical issues, it's discipline issues in our coverage, and it's not where it needs to be, quite frankly. We're not getting people where they need to be on a consistent basis. My sense is that we've got to do a better job of coaching them, and they've got do a better job of understanding exactly what it is we're putting forward.
bunch controlled great job tempo
It's not like they've been in a bunch of barnburners. They're an outstanding team. They've pretty much controlled the tempo of the game, and they do such a great job on defense.
background belief developing excellent good jack job line strong teaching
First and foremost, Jack is an excellent teacher. He has done a good job of developing young players. He has a strong background in line play and a strong belief in teaching fundamentals first.
doubt element good job lt passing receiver terrific utilize
When we look at our passing game, the one element we have not been able to utilize effectively is LT as a receiver. There is no doubt he has been a terrific receiver for us, and we haven't done a good enough job in getting him the ball.
available certainly comforting family job obviously situation takes terrific
Stephen did a terrific job for us and that's certainly comforting to us, but obviously we'd like to have Randall available to us. If he is not, his family in that situation takes priority, in my view.
job needed rush
I don't think our rush got there the way we needed to. We need to do a better job.
attempt decision man question sure tough ultimate
I know the young man, and he's tough kid, a tough-minded person. So, you know, I'm sure the ultimate decision will be if he can make it significantly worse. I don't have any question he'll make every attempt to play, because he is a tough kid.
best continues decision drew stand ultimate
I know where I stand on it. If Drew continues to play well, and we continue to be successful, I don't know how you can do anything but keep him. The ultimate decision must be made on who's the best player.
approach best game
The best way I could characterize it is we will approach it like it's the first game of the year.
affect again proved time
They've proved time and again it doesn't affect them.
counting enjoying
I'm not counting them anymore, but I am enjoying them.
city kansas played
I have no idea. We played them a lot. I was in Kansas City for a long time. Played them some in Cleveland.
good
It was not a good enough job. The numbers, 9-7, to me are not acceptable. You need to do better than that.
