You always have to be prepared because they bring pressure from anywhere. But the key is if you can make yards against them on first down, and then it's second-and-4, second-and-5. Then you got a chance to, at the worst, get it to third-and-2 or third-and-3 and a chance to get the ball out and beat the blitz with the ball.

When I was playing, it was 10 or 12 plays that determined the outcome of a game. Now, because of the balance of talent in the league, it's come down to three or four plays a game. All you're looking for is to be in a position where you have a chance to win at the end.
