I knew him pretty well. In dealing with Rashad, I'd always known him as a kid with a huge heart. He had almost a simple innocence. He was very respectful -- I don't remember a foul word ever coming out of his mouth.

I didn't see a change -- and I don't think I'm blind. Before, he was very shy. He was still himself, but he had a little bit more confidence.
