To be honest with you, ASU had its first off game of the year, and luckily it was against us. (ASU) will come out playing hard and go after it today. They are an excellent team. We know we are in for a tough game.

I thought there would be a little learning curve, but they're athletic, they're strong, they all jump really, really well. They're not playing like freshmen. They're not playing like freshmen at all. They're going to be scary in the next few years I'm including this year in the next few years.

We just ran into a buzz saw. I don't want to make excuses. We just didn't play well. A lot of teams play seven people. I think it was a question of Stanford being a monster out there tonight.

We were going with a triangle-and-two and a diamond-and-one. It's like pick-your-poison with them. We wanted to force the other kids to knock down shots and they did. We left people wide open.
both close game games luckily played proud teams won
Luckily we won the game by two, but I thought it was a well-played game. Both teams played very, very well, and I'm just proud of the kids. We won a lot of close games this year.

It's having an effect on us in the second half of games, especially on defense. There's some games we've done well in the first half, and in the second half the floodgates opened.

It's a top-five - might've been the top recruiting class in the country last year. It's going to be a tough game we're going to have to put a body on (Hampton) or else she's going to run wild.
