coach coaches fantastic full guy hands honored job side
I am especially honored that I get to coach on the other side of a guy I really respect. He is one of the coaches that as a young coach you look up to. He has done a fantastic job and they are a very well-coached team. We will have our hands full on Saturday.
best definitely felt guy interest jimmy larry offensive past recall side
We felt it was in our best interest to go with the guy who had the most recall to where Larry Kueck, our offensive coordinator, could get him on the side and say, 'Hey, Jimmy, you know, we're getting this, this and this,' and Jimmy would have some recall from past years. Bernie will definitely play, though.
hard positives practice sideline
We practice that situation, but it's so hard to (simulate) the pandemonium on the sideline and the crowd. But we have some positives to take away from all of this.
becomes creating depth experience gets guy hurt matt move side
Come fall, if someone gets hurt at (weak side linebacker) is it better to put in a freshman, or move another guy over with experience and move someone up from (the middle), where we have depth? It's two-fold. We're creating depth and Matt becomes a better player.
coach feat glad guys heck share special team
We just want the guys to be around them. We're going to let them coach. For that team to go 15-0 is a heck of feat and there had to be something special about that group. We're glad that they'll share some of that with this team.
draw focus good lose ourselves special teams tonight whether work
We try to take a day to work on ourselves and some on UCF and we had a good practice. Right now, I'm just concentrating on Marshall, whether they win, lose or draw tonight (in the UCF-USF game). Our focus was pretty good, special teams got it going and we went from there.
couple game impressed last saw slow starting year
We saw some things last year out of him and I think the game is starting to slow down for him. He's starting to show up a little bit. I've been pretty impressed with his last couple of practices.
came coach exciting few games head last overtime places seven six
It was an exciting game. First one in overtime as a head coach for me. I've been a part of a few overtime games here in the last six or seven years as places I came from and it was as exciting as it usually is when you go into overtime.
beat coming football good jimmy miss
We didn't miss a beat with Jimmy coming in the game. When you have two quarterbacks to play, you must be a pretty good football team.
highest mccarthy point
Teal Kitson and Kayla McCarthy were the highest point scorers in the meet,
against belongs bowl fact needs question team work
There's no question Anthony belongs at this level, ... but there's some liabilities he needs to work on to be able to play in this conference, and to play against an SEC or Big 12 team in a bowl game. He could get away with it there, but I know for a fact if those things don't improve, he won't be able to get away with them in this conference.
bit die kinda momentum pick summer
We have some momentum going, but I really think we'll feel it once the movie comes out. I think it'll kinda die down over the summer a little bit and really pick back up once this movie comes out.
both burning candle ends months night three
We had to put three months (of preparation) into one, ... We were going night and day, burning the candle on both ends of the stick.
area asset atlanta coaching continue extremely impressed man ohio paul players recruiting relates state time
I was very impressed with Paul during my time at Ohio State and I know that he is going to be an asset to our coaching staff. He is a very intelligent young man who relates extremely well with players and is well respected. He is also from the Atlanta area which has been and will continue to be an important recruiting area for our program.
