address against critical fix flow friday game meat next nights offense start time tuesday year
We just never got into the flow of the game against Pius. We need to address the offense immediately. It's a critical time of the year for us. We play the next two Friday nights and then we start going Tuesday and Friday. We need to fix things right now before we get into the meat of the season.
ball best jay key possible shot
The key to Jay making that game-winning shot was that we got him into the best possible situation. He just reacted to the situation. He got the ball and shot it. Fortunately for us, it went in.
basketball came classic conference few game handled kids knew position quite situation time
This was probably the first time in quite a few years that we came into a varsity basketball game in the Classic 8 Conference as the favorite. The kids knew that, too. I thought we handled that situation very well. We haven't been in that position in a long, long time.
aggressive believe bit close guys invite lose order played pressure team toward understanding
We kind of played a little bit not to lose toward the end of the game. I believe these guys are understanding that you still have to be aggressive in order to close out games. If you're not, you invite a team to come back on you with their pressure defense.

almost defend guns half longer missed offense quick ran scares shots shut south team weapons
Those 10 shots we missed in the first half were quick shots. We never really ran offense in the first half. They made us defend them longer than we would have liked. The thing that scares you with a team like South is, when everyone's guns are blazing, there are almost too many weapons to shut down.
bouncing credit guys kids losing played pride proud season tonight
We played with a lot of pride tonight and we didn't want to have our season end. The kids were down after losing to West. I'm proud of these guys for bouncing back like they did. It's a credit to every one of them.
gave good key kids minutes tim tonight
Tim gave us some good minutes tonight, and that helped. The key tonight was that a lot of kids made key contributions.

taken
We've taken a big first step, and need to keep working at it.
basketball game good half kids learned lesson took west
Our kids learned a good lesson about the game of basketball tonight. Basketball is all about momentum. We had it for most of the first half and then we let it go and West took it from us. We let them get back into the game.
defense game great half intensity lost nice played pleased ryan second start storm weathered west
Overall, I'm very pleased with how we played tonight. Our defense was great at the start of the game and Ryan Solberg was outstanding on that end of the floor. But then we lost some of that intensity and West got back into the game. We weathered the West storm in the second half and got back on track. This was a very nice W for the kids.
