I think for the most part, we stayed patient and got the pitches we wanted.

Our youth showed tonight. We gave them the ball in good field position and they took advantage. If we hadn't done that, then we could have stayed with our game plan and stayed in the game.

We've been so close so often. We finally earned one. Maybe we brightened it up for Sam Rayburn.

That was nice to see. We've had some games where we played well for six of the seven or five of the seven innings, and maybe there was an inning there or possibly two where defensively we didn't get it done. I thought today we played well.

Marshall Kennedy is swinging the bat well for us. It was nice to see him get a home run. Drew Swenson, that was a bomb he hit. Drew is a very good hitter. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us, not necessarily home runs. We anticipate him hitting the ball well for us. That did not surprise me at all. It was nice to see more than one or two guys hit the ball well for us.

I was happy we were in the hunt and we finished ahead of Kewaskum because they beat us in the duals.
