We haven't made those errors in four games. That's made a huge difference. Our pitchers are pitching well and we are playing good defense behind them.

Self-motivation is the difference this season. I go out and throw strikes and don't put a lot of pressure on myself. I just try to play and have fun.
hot maybe summer weather
Maybe the weather was just so hot it didn't feel like summer was over yet. I don't know.

Now that we've got an idea about what teaching openings we have, that's one of the nice things when your school district is growing. You have the opportunity to bring teachers in, because there's a demand there. Obviously we want a quality teacher and a quality coach.

You have to give Canby credit. They put the ball in play and put pressure on us and we didn't make plays.

We've had a lot of breaks go against us this year. Even in this game over there, we did not play well defensively. We gave them some extra outs and it led to their first run.

We kicked it around and didn't handle bunt defense really well. As a coach, that's a little frustrating to me because we spend an awful lot of time on it. It didn't look that way today.

We were really pleased with Chad Jones. He threw really well. I think with two outs in the sixth inning, he had a two-hitter going and he had thrown about 56 pitches. He pitched extremely well as he has basically done the whole year. Today we were able to give him run support which we haven't done.

It's the only real pure American style of architecture.
bat bit fun guys nice side swing
It was nice to see these guys swing the bat a little bit better. To be on this side, it's a little bit more fun than being on the other side when we were at Canby. That wasn't any fun at all.
match pleased senior sophomore wrestle
It was a 4-3 match and he lost. But for a sophomore to wrestle a senior that close, we're very pleased with his performance.

That made us nervous. Were the students going to show up the next week? They did.

It seems to be from top to bottom. Today we didn't hit as well as we have from top to bottom from the last couple of games, but we've had guys that are coming through for us.
early front relax seems
It seems to relax them a little bit. They get out front early and they are not pressing.
