against fast feet high level offensive quick rush speed tough
They play at a very high tempo. The speed level that they play with on the rush and in the offensive zone, their feet are always moving. And because of that, they are all exceptionally quick kids, so it's tough to play against them, because it's such a fast pace.
battle call difficult fight goals lead quick soft team uphill
They got out to quick 2-0 lead with what I would call two soft goals, and it was an uphill battle all night. They know how to play with the lead, and they are a very difficult team to fight back from once your behind.
confident fortunate hope job
They give you a lot of hope and a lot of confidence. From a coach's perspective, when you put them out there, you are very confident that they can get the job done. I'm very fortunate to have them.
next players
They're all players who can take us to that next level.
absolutely knew periods third
They are a very hard-working team. We knew that going in. They outworked us for two periods. In the third period, we had our chances, but for two periods they absolutely manhandled us.
glad god hope team
They are a very frustrating team to play against. I'm glad we're done with them. I hope to God we don't see them in the playoffs.
league limited team
They are the highest-scoring team in the league and we limited them to one goal.
based dynamic focus hockey line production receive states united
They are probably the most dynamic line in the United States Hockey League. Their focus is based on the production they receive from (that line).
against arm eddie goal major shot team
One goal against a team like that is what Eddie Neville is all about. He's been a major shot in the arm for our team, and he's been a major confidence-booster for us.
bit earned heck kept
He was exceptional. He really kept us in the game. It was a heck of a shutout. He earned every bit of it.
against game striking
We're in the hunt, there's no question. We have a very big game against Waterloo on Thursday, and we still have two with Cedar Rapids and two with Des Moines. The thing is, we are in striking distance.
add expect four hockey junior maturity saves
I didn't expect him to have 40-something saves and have a shutout. He's a 20-year-old and has been in the USHL for two years and junior hockey for four years. I thought he would add maturity and competitiveness, and he showed that (Friday).
challenged failed friday good kids last needed night played saw
If you saw us play last night, you wouldn't have thought we were a very good team. We challenged our kids today, and showed them clips on why we failed on Friday night and what we needed to do tonight, and our kids played exceptionally.
against chances darn match opponent playing
I like our chances against Des Moines, I really do. I think we match up well. We're not playing an opponent that had their way with us. We were pretty darn even with them.
