ball biggest cutting defense difference good running smarter
We're cutting down on our mistakes. We're being smarter with the football. We're running the ball much better. Our defense has been good all year, but offensively, the biggest difference is that we're running the ball. That makes everything a lot easier.
run throw
We couldn't run it and, obviously, we didn't throw well, either.
clean entirely game needs passing plays realize timing watch worked
We had two big plays that worked and got us the win, but there is still some timing there and some work that needs to be done, ... You watch the game and realize we have to clean up some things. The passing game wasn't entirely there.
against care effective good playoffs road win
You don't care about numbers. You don't care how pretty it is, or how effective it is, or how effective you were on offense. To get a win is huge. You are on the road in the playoffs against a very good defense. We will take it.
difficult five row start winning
Winning five in a row is difficult to do. But that's over with. Now we start a new season.
coverage
We got the coverage we wanted in the right situation. So we were very fortunate.
came defense incredible offense plays
We came up with enough plays on offense to get points, and the defense was incredible again.
bring football good played team
We played a good football team on the road, in the playoffs, and you've got to bring your A game. You've got to be at your best. If you don't, then you're going to lose.
establish football hurt momentum start tough
Tough way to start a football game. It's tough to establish any momentum or get anything going. I think that hurt us.
fortunate good great guys job line numbers offensive reflection running
You look at those numbers, and I'm real fortunate that we've had a really good running game. The receivers have done a great job. The offensive line has done a great job of protecting. Those numbers come up because you have 10 guys around you doing their jobs. It's the reflection of the whole offense, not just one position.
difficult great group guys hope work
It would be my hope that we could keep this group intact, which is difficult to do these days. I think we have guys with great character, work ethic, attitude; all the things that you'd want.
correct crazy
It was a little crazy out there tonight. We need to be more sharp. It was a little sloppy, but we will correct it.
fortunate
He's a real big-play guy, ... and we're very fortunate to have him.
football good
Good player. He just had a big day. You've got to give him a lot of credit. Very good athlete, very good football player.
