It was something special. Test cricket is a different ball game but I really enjoyed it and hopefully we can take some of that momentum into the Tests.

I'm at a loss for words. That is my best moment in cricket by far.

We've got to back our bowlers against their tail. The wicket has flattened out a bit but the history of the Wanderers shows that the ball does something early in the morning. We'll have to make sure our bowlers are fired up, we don't have any runs to play with.

It's one of my best moments in cricket. We always knew we'd be up against it. We tried to keep it simple, we knew we had to get a good start and Herschelle and Graeme (Smith) did fantastically well.

I also decided to take a few chances when the balls were pitched short. Luckily it worked, even though one or two shots went flying over the wicketkeeper's head. When you get runs against weaker countries you aren't always that appreciative but when you make runs against the Aussies it feels really good.

If there's a Test match up for grabs and we've got to win it by bowling short balls at him, so be it.

If he's going to come out and expect half-volleys ? well, if I got hit on the head and went to bat and expected half volleys, then I shouldn't be playing Test cricket. If there's a Test match to win, and we've got to win it bowling short balls at him, then so be it. I don't think he'd expect us to lay off.

crowds great past poor sit trust
In the past our crowds haven't been too great with them but trust me, we're not going to sit back and say, shame, poor things'.
