direction leaning next
Obviously, I'm leaning in that direction. I will make that announcement next week.
feeling great
I was so excited, it was a great feeling to have.
settles shut win
For us to come here, win like we did and shut them out ... it settles it down a little bit.
bounce bowl game guys point proves shut team win
I got more stats than some guys have the whole season. That proves a point for me and my team, for us to bounce back like that and win a bowl game and shut a team out.
I don't have an ego; I'm not egotistical or anything like that.
coming fit goal main teams versatile
I can do whatever. I can play the 3-4. I can play the 4-3. If you want me back at linebacker I can do that coming off the edge. My main goal coming into this was to be versatile and let the teams put me where they want to. It's all about the team, put me where I fit in.
against bowl came game good job last offensive south
Getting that shutout was just great. Especially after not going to a bowl game last year, we came to play for the seniors. We were able to do a really good job against South Florida's offensive line.
believe below defensive premium rare rated true
I believe, especially now, defensive end is a premium position. It's rare to find someone that is a true defensive end that could actually get after the quarterback and make plays. I believe defensive end is rated right below quarterback.
agent call came finally found glad last paid wire
I really found out last night. During the day yesterday, I got a call from my agent and he was just like, you know, we need to talk. He finally told me, you're going to be the guy. It came down to the wire but I'm just glad it paid off and I'm so glad to be a Texan.
face fact family great leaving
I really have to face the fact that I'm leaving a great family here. I'm going to be in the real world now.
came chip
I came from behind. I'm an underdog, basically. There's kind of a chip on my shoulder.
ball guess nature running second
I just do what I do. I'm just out there and come off the ball - it's second nature. I wanted to play running back, but I guess I was a little too big for that.
breaking everybody good kids time
I had a lot of kids breaking a sweat! Everybody was having a good time and there was a lot of excitement.
avoid chop fine hope knees running trying
You've got to be careful of guys trying to chop-block you. You know, running backs, the receivers. You've got to just hope that your knees are fine and you can avoid those chop blocks.
