We felt we had better athletes on the perimeter than they did. Coach told me and Hassan to get in there and get nasty on the glass.

We didn't know if we were in or not, but we felt that if we won this one we'd solidify (a spot).

We came out with a lot of intensity from the get-go. In the first half, the rim kind of felt like a big bucket from 3-land, and I kind of got in a groove and just kind of fed off of that.

I felt good about it because I was shooting that bad and Hassan wasn't shooting that great, but we were still up. If we'd been making the shots we normally make, then this would have been a different game. We'd have had it in our hands from the get-go.

I felt fine (at the free-throw line). I never feel bad at the free-throw line. I'm not really nervous. I just missed them. They just didn't go in. I'm disappointed. They were obviously big things for us to win the game.

It was a rough year. There were a lot of ups and downs. But I felt we dealt with it pretty well. There's a lot of maturity on this team.

Now before we played Marquette, we felt a little too good and went out there and took it for granted thinking they were going to bow down and let us get the victory. But now, I think we're still focused.

We just sat here and thought. Basically a mental thing where we knew we didn't do the job and we didn't do our job defensively or offensively so we just kind of had a moment of silence.

We just really shared the ball and played Arizona basketball out there. We got out and put points on the board.

We showed some flashes tonight. We're confident. Our defense was good at some points and our offense was good at some points and we were bad at some points with both.

It would be the same if we were No. 4 or No. 24. Connecticut is Connecticut. They're going to want to take our heads off as soon as we get out there. They're going to be aggressive. It may be the best game they have all season. Everyone seems to have their best game against us.
