It was a real juggle back and forth. At a certain point, I didn't feel like (staying) was best for me. Growing up, since you're six years old, this is your dream and it's hard to say no.

It was a rough year. There were a lot of ups and downs. But I felt we dealt with it pretty well. There's a lot of maturity on this team.

I want to crowd him. Not really let him catch the ball and ... play smart because obviously he'll take advantage if you're out of position a little bit. You have to force him to be athletic and make him drive by you and make athletic shots in the lane against our tall guys in the middle.

It was good to have him back. I'm happy for him. That's a good player, man. You can bring good players around here all the time. That's my mentality. That's a defensive specialist. I have never seen anybody move feet like that.

That isn't going to do it. Twenty-five minutes? Coach told us if we play 40 minutes, we can be the best team in the league.

It saddens me to be honest with you. He's a great player. He's a big asset to our team, so it's obviously a big loss for us.

It's a game we need to win. We're not focusing on winning the Big East, the Big East standings, the NCAA standings, whatever. They beat us the first time, so we have to get this win.

I tried to hit Staf (Mustafa Shakur) and Chris (Rodgers) came up and I thought I could get it to him.

When we get Rashad involved early, we are a way better team. He's gets aggressive and had a lot of heart.

We bounced back and came together at the right time. At tournament time, we played our best basketball.

We experimented a lot with it but we felt more comfortable with four guards in there. I think we nailed things down.

We are almost where we need to be. It was last year at this time (the UA) started stepping on people's throats. That's what we have to do next.
behind ready regular season time year
We're ready to play. It's the time of year where you have to put everything behind you. The regular season is over. We got the championship, but that's all said and done.
