game lose loss spoils
When you lose a game it just spoils everything. The loss overshadows anything personal.
game good great pitching solid timely
Finally, I think this is our first solid game - great pitching and, more importantly, timely hitting. It was just a good game overall.
bit exactly game maybe spark
I think this is exactly what we need. I think we need a bit of a challenge, something to maybe spark us and something to get us going. This game is all about momentum, and right now we don't have it.
exactly focusing games happen job last point reason three
I think these last three games showed that anything can happen at any point in the game. That's exactly the reason why you keep focusing on the job and get the job done.
almost clubhouse fun game intensity league playing
With these young guys, we have the intensity we need. It's almost like we're 10 years old playing in Little League again, but winning's more important now. It's just a lot of fun in the clubhouse now before the game and after the game.
bullpen confidence deep games great hitters starters
It's just great to see our starters going deep in games and our bullpen getting some confidence. Now, all we need to do is keep grinding, get some hitters back, and I think we'll be fine.
compare game good mode side
It's just good to get out there and get into game mode a little bit. When you do so much working out on the side like I have been, you can only get so much of that. It just doesn't compare to game situations.
ball changed difference found game hit nice tonight
It was nice to hit the ball well. It's nice to have a four-hit game but I haven't changed anything. The only difference was that tonight the ball found some holes.
games play nervous
What's there to be nervous about? You just go out and play the game.
lose loss spoils takes team win
When you lose a game, it spoils everything. It takes all of us to win a game, that's obvious. It's a team game. The loss overshadows anything personal.
guys learn losing maybe rest seems silly top worth year
To me, it's not worth losing one of your top guys and they can't play the rest of the year for a concert. It kind of seems silly to me. Maybe we can learn something from this.
fortunate good hits kept overall single team
Two-out hits are always good. Furcal kept the inning going with the single up the middle. I was fortunate to hit one. It was a good overall team win.
good pitcher proved sure threw
We all know how good a pitcher he is, ... He sure proved it today. The same with our pitcher. He threw a pretty good game, too.
last looking ourselves results
If we can't get ourselves together, ... we'll be looking at the same results as last year.
