almost feels finish good hard proud road trip win work
It feels good to win on the road. This was almost like a make-or-break road trip for us. To finish up 5-2, I think we should all be proud of what we accomplished . . . but we still have a lot of hard work to do going down the stretch.
brand contain felt good hopefully hot night outcome wish
It felt good to be out there. I wish the outcome was different. Hopefully (Saturday) night we can contain Brand better. He was hot tonight.
finally good great seeing talking
It's great to see him alive. He could pretty much not be with us right now. I've been talking to him and seeing him every day, so it's good to finally see him up here.
game good great lead stick team
That's a great team, but you can't let any team get a big lead in their own building, ... This was a good measuring stick for us. We can take this game and see where we are.
cancer contact good keeps last ordeal playing tough
It's a tough ordeal for coach, having been through what he been through last year, with his cancer situation. We know Coby real well. He's always here before the season, working out, playing with the guys, and he keeps in pretty good contact with a lot of the guys.
best clutch four good needed picked shot three
He picked his pocket. It was a three or four differential on the shot clock, and I don't know if he was going to foul, but he had good anticipation and made a good play on it and got it clean. That was the best clutch play I've been a part of. It was key, and we really needed it.
arena ball best came familiar fans gave good great grown love loyal married ovation playing
I love playing in the Garden. This is the best arena in the world to play in. They have such loyal fans out there, and they gave me a great ovation when I came in. It's always good to see a lot of familiar faces. The ball boys, when I was here, were little kids. Now, they're grown up and married with children.
against asked competition good level pinpoint question raises seems weeks work
I get asked that question every two weeks when we play a good team. I can't pinpoint it. I think the level of competition raises up our level of play. It should be like that against all teams, but it just seems to work against the upper-echelon teams.
division goal nice
Our goal is more than a division championship. Our goal is more than a division championship. But this is a nice steppingstone.
doctor further injury neither persuade playing quickly risk time trying
I was trying to persuade the doctor that I could keep playing with it. He was like, 'No.' I would risk further injury to myself and neither one of us would have wanted that. It's a frustrating time (to miss). I'm just going to try to get back as quickly as I can.
job team
I think we can go all the way. I think we have a team assembled that can get the job done.
basket looking underneath
I was actually underneath the basket looking up at it. It was 50-50.
bullets center fully guy hospital hours medical recovery released soon spend spirits swedish took
I was able to spend like two hours at the hospital (with Hodge, who could be released from Swedish Medical Center as soon as today). I would never think that a guy that took as many bullets as he (did) would be in the (good) spirits he was. Hopefully, he'll make a fully recovery like they said he would.
league points team tearing
I think I'm more disappointed for Carmelo, because he's averaging 26 points on a team that's in first place. He's been tearing up the league as of late.
