We came out flat and it cost us in the end. We missed some chances ... This was an important time and we just couldn't cash in.

april bank cash happy points
These are the points that you look back on in April and you're happy to have. This is cash in the bank and we're going to need it later.
caps rally
We had our rally caps on. It worked, so you will probably see more of that.
game indicative score
That was a game we were in. The score is not indicative of the whole game.
We jumped on them early, but it wasn't often enough.
ball best coach court great situation thank
For sure, it's been a great situation here from Day 1. Coach Hartley put the ball in my court and he's the best coach I've ever had. (Thrashers GM) Donnie (Waddell) got me in here and I thank him a lot for that, too. It's been real good.
management
I'd like to be back here, but that's up to management. We'll see what happens.
gave guy hard night short
Mentally, it's tough. We battled so hard every night. To come up short is really draining. Every guy gave it all he had. We really wanted to make the playoffs.
game hard limits minutes positive staying stick
We keep working hard like we did tonight, stick with the game for 60 minutes and we are going to be successful. We are staying positive and offensively there are no limits to this team.
created cute net threw traffic worked
We just worked hard. We weren't too cute. We threw pucks at the net and created traffic and got goals.
believing coach foremost giving opportunity owe stay
First and foremost I'd like to stay here in Atlanta. I owe a lot to Donnie for giving me an opportunity and Coach Hartley for believing in me so this is the place that's first on my list.
looked seen time
It's the first time I've seen him, and he looked pretty good. He made some big saves.
call coach craig eye great healthy kept move obviously office saying scratch time trade
It wasn't him at all, obviously it was the coach and I who didn't see eye to eye. I was a healthy scratch and it was time to move on. But Craig was great about everything, he'd call me into his office and kept saying every time: 'I don't want to trade you, I don't want to trade you.' It was tough, but it had to be done.
