I very much felt comfortable with the level of support I've gotten, the message that I hope to bring and I'm going to campaign for this vigorously. These are the grassroots and the foundation of our party. These aren't party bosses. These are people, individuals, who really care about their community and they've been extremely considerate and sincere in this process.

I really believe in the campaign I'm running and I believe that this district, and Albany, does need a fresh approach. Thumping one's chest and stomping one's feet doesn't really get us anywhere, it clearly hasn't.
