He made some great saves in the third. He's been playing a lot of hockey for us. We haven't been able to get him as much rest as we'd like to and as much practice as we'd like to ... but he's really learning how to compete. You can see that.

I really liked the way our goalie responded in the last two periods. He was probably the biggest reason that we got the two points tonight.

Once they scored on the power play, I don't think we mounted much after that. We were playing a stingy road game and I thought we'd rise to the challenge of the third period, but that first goal seemed to take all the wind out of our sails.

If we can bottle that third period and take it with us to L.A. (this Thursday), we'll be all right. It's nice to come into this place, where it's very difficult to play, and get a win.

In terms of the makeup of our overall team, we've got an awful lot of players who are thinking-type players. Eddie is in the category of a guy that's very passionate, is maybe a risking personality. You need those types of people along with the thinking, thoughtful players you have to make it all mesh.

If you take the game as a whole, we did some good things. I like the way our team is working right now. End result, though, is that you need to get points.
