eating persist resolutely
Persist as resolutely as you persist in eating
cannibals foolish land visit
Only the foolish visit the land of the cannibals
people respect spend time
Never spend time with people who don't respect you
block dictate wood
The block of wood should not dictate to the carver
brave climbs food man roots trees
A brave man who climbs trees is food for their roots
berries bird eats wood
A bird which eats berries can be caught, but not a bird that eats wood
ask journey longer seems
The more you ask how much longer it will take, the longer the journey seems
