Emmanuel Legaceis a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender, who played most notably in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings. Legace also enjoyed spells with the St. Louis Blues, Los Angeles Kings and the Carolina Hurricanes. He finished his playing career for the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League, for whom he is the career leader in goaltending wins...

This is the first time I remember winning, even going back to when I was a kid. It's really weird. The guys gave me a good present with a couple of goals in the third period.

This game was huge. Being down 3-1 would be a tough deficit. We needed this one.

That second period, those two shots may have been from the blue line. That's the way the defense has been playing. They've just been doing an amazing job in front of me.

I just wanted to skate a little bit. Nothing too strenuous. More just to keep feeling the puck.

I know it's tough for (Columbus) to come in here when we've got a full squad. But we went out and played well in every aspect.

I just had to stand there, basically. I made a couple of tough saves when it was 3-0 and 4-0. I really didn't have to do much.

It was huge. Especially with the guys coming back from the Olympics, and the effort they put in Anaheim, the way Ozzie (Chris Osgood's shutout) stood on his head, the effort everyone put in. It's just good teammates and everyone working hard and putting their hard hats on.

I let them back in the third period, ... and that shouldn't happen.
five opportunity stuck
In my first five years, I was out of shape, and I never got an opportunity to play. That's why I was stuck in the minors for 10 years.

The first three games I thought they let a lot more go. But tonight was just like a normal regular-season game.
games minutes shot three tough
These games are kind of tough because you won't see a shot for 10 minutes and then you'll see two or three right around the net. You get stiff.
