easy game gets mantra open opposed pass sharing
It always reverts back to sharing the ball, making the easy pass as opposed to the spectacular pass, ... His whole mantra is keep the game simple. If a guy's more open than you are, he gets the ball.
mentally players tough
He's just one of the most mentally tough players I've ever seen.
confidence floor gaining hitting looking moving playing scoring spreading
He's been really gaining confidence as of late, and it's looking good. He's out there playing well. He's moving defensively, he's hitting that shot, he's spreading the floor and he's scoring inside. He's finishing. So it's making him really, really dangerous.
hard knowing larry likes people thinks wants
Part of me thinks Larry likes it, people not knowing what he wants or whatever. All I know is I go as hard as I can when I'm out there. Sometimes, things just don't go your way.
blame decisions guys happened head position power rest takes team ultimately waiting
He, like the rest of us, has a lot of things going on. He's in a position of power, he's the head coach, and ultimately he takes a lot of the blame for what happened this season. But he has a lot of decisions to make, just like a lot of guys on the team have a lot of decisions to make. I'm waiting to see what happens.
nice potential realize slap type wish
He has so much potential. Sometimes he doesn't realize that we go as he goes. He's such a nice kid. I wish I could slap him before each quarter. He has to get some type of edge, some type of fire.
awful character great measure mom people sure watching year
My mom always told me character is doing the right thing when people aren't looking. We've been awful this year and I'm sure people aren't watching us anymore. So if we do the right thing, it would be a great measure of character.
ran touch
I ran right by him. I didn't touch him.
blown chance competing controlled game learn losing majority ourselves putting step types win
It's real tough, losing a game that you controlled the majority of. But I always try to look at the positive. At least we're not getting blown out now. We're competing and putting ourselves in a chance to win games. We just have to take that all-important step and learn how to win those types of games.
fourth importance last minutes six
I really don't place a lot of importance on starting. I want to be out there the last six minutes of the fourth quarter.
carries experience listened playing practicing rings
I had the experience, the championship rings or whatever, and they listened to me, but that only got me so far. Now that I'm playing and actually practicing what I preach, it carries a little more weight.
god head minutes road thank
I'll be scratching my head minutes down the road as to what happened. But it's over, and thank God I made it through.
agree gets paid says wrong
I may not agree with everything he does or says, but he's the coach; if he says it, I'll do it. Even if I think it's wrong or I don't think it will help, I have to do it because he gets paid to make the decisions.
america care
But, you know, this is America . . . I just don't really care for it.
