My crew and I airlifted nearly 100 people from the roof of a building and onto a field where ambulances and buses were waiting for them. Ten of those who we rescued couldn't even walk; my crewmen had to carry them.

It's going well. Establishments are doing their best to comply with the law. Ashtrays have been removed and people are being told to step outside. It's a learning process.
crew fellow help home knows people rewarding
It's rewarding to help our fellow Americans, ... The crew knows that these people don't have a home to go back to. That is our motivation.
funds huge thousands
It's a huge challenge, right now we have probably in the tens of thousands of funds that have come in.
bit court judge surprised took
We're a bit surprised the court took this case, but we have a new court with Judge Roberts.
gets good guys team tempo
We know if a team gets 60 on us it's not going to be good. So the tempo was good for us with it in the 50s, and the guys never quit.
