Leslie played with a little chip on her shoulder, but it was a good chip. It wasn't nasty or mean, but if she got mad, she got intense and there wasn't much you could do to stop her.

Sometimes that happens. They (the Ghosts) have great shooters. Early on I didn't think they were going to miss.

If we had to stay indoors we'd only have about an hour. We have six teams trying to practice in our gym, there is not a lot of time.

Leslie worked hard on the boards and defensive end. But we have grown to expect that out of her.

She's only 5-7, but she has the strength underneath. She got most of her points off inside baskets, but the last four or five games she took her game outside. Against Bellows Falls she stood in the deep corner and she kept draining threes.

She just always wanted the ball. If the ball was within reach of her, she was going to get it more times than not. She's just so strong.

Too many walks early. You put runners on then an error or a hit is very costly. Joslin did a good job for the second game in a row. We have lots of freshmen, but they're athletes. They'll progress. We just have to put the ball in play. Thirteen strikeouts makes it easy on their defense.

I told them before the game that we're going to have peaks and valleys, and just don't get too hung up on yourself when we're at the peak and don't get too down on yourself when we're in the valley. We could have folded there at the start of the fourth quarter, but we came out hard, moved the ball well and got some nice shots.

They went a little cold from the floor. And our defense combined with good foul shooting was enough to put it over for us.

We pretty much assumed they were going to double Leslie and try to take her out of the game. They did a good job on her, but she's a very unselfish player. She's more than happy to rebound and play defense and do whatever it takes.
easy offensive rebounds seem struggling
They out-rebounded us badly. They got a lot of offensive rebounds for easy shots. We have been struggling and we can't seem to get over the hump.

There were a lot of walks, a lot of errors and not a lot of hits.
