bad bent fell hearing hurt knee point tried
Everything I'm hearing is it's not a bad injury. My knee was bent and I just fell on it pretty hard. I tried to go back in, and it hurt to the point where I couldn't play.
hard prepare worked
I worked hard. I have to prepare better.
felt tested
It felt great. I could have tested it yesterday.
feels field
It feels better than Toronto, so I like this field better. I thought it was going to be harder, but it's not too bad.
liked
I would have liked to stay; I would have liked at least another year.
huge
I got scared. I made a huge mistake.
leg percent ready
I don't feel 100 percent with my leg right now. I want to be ready for the season.
doubted downs eyes finish four game guys knew last step
We were down there, especially on those last four downs where it really was on the line, and you look in guys' eyes and you knew they wanted it. You knew guys were going to step up and make plays. I never once doubted that we could finish that game the right way.
needed
It's not 100 percent, but I needed to get back.
hard problem ready stay work
For me, it's better to stay here. I want to work hard and be ready for the season. I don't want to have any problem for the season.
arms biggest blocks bring field football half johnson larry throwing
The biggest thing you have to look for is not so much the field as especially in the first half we weren't getting off blocks and making tackles. We were throwing arms out there. You're not going to bring Larry Johnson down by throwing an arm out there.
everybody plays represent together
I want to be together with everybody and get to know how everybody plays here. But you've got to represent your country.
battle cushion defense felt games gave great locked offense team three
We're a team and we go out there and we battle together, but when it comes down to it, the three games we lost, the defense let up at the end; we let them score. It felt great to go out there and really get them stopped. The offense gave us a great cushion and we locked them down.
