bat consistent gets gotten knock needs plays routine since time whatever
Whatever needs to be done, he gets it done. He's a very consistent fielder and makes routine plays pretty much every time -- knock on wood. And he's gotten better with the bat since day one.
good pitch seen
I've probably seen him pitch as much as anybody, good and bad. That wasn't Edgar.
game keeps puts regular spiritual
Donnie Sadler is one of our spiritual leaders. He keeps us going in the dugout. Donnie really puts this game in perspective. It's not a regular job. Some of us take it for granted.
strike work
He was pretty good, especially early. He pounded the strike zone, but he still has to work on his location.
adrenaline pain running spring wore
He was running around like a spring chicken. Once that adrenaline wore off, pain set in.
goes knows takes waiting water wherever
He just goes with the flow, wherever the water takes him. He knows he's going to play in the leagues. He knows he's a big leaguer waiting to happen.
caught focus game goes knows patience pitch rattled strong
He doesn't get rattled or caught up in the game itself. He just kind of goes with the flow, and patience is one of his strong points. He'll get teed off when he knows he had a pitch he should have hit, or not made a play he should have made, but his focus is very good.
second stepped
After the second inning, (Dustin) really stepped it up and made his pitches.
believe high leagues leave major pitches work zone
He still has to work on his location. You can't leave pitches high in the zone in the major leagues. But I believe one day he'll pitch in the big leagues and stay.
