It's been a crazy year, an emotional roller-coaster.
blow football guys happen injuries
It's a big blow for our defense. However, we will still play football on Sunday. Injuries happen all the time. We've got some other guys that have to take up the slack.
blocking good guy job run secondary
They did a good job of blocking the run and getting us in defenses where our secondary guy was the cutback player,
amazing build victory work
It's amazing what one victory can do, ... I think we can build on this. But we still have a lot of work to do.
expecting wonder
We're expecting him to play. They're 1-4 and he's a competitor. ... You see them at 1-4 right now and wonder how that's happened.
everybody gap job staying stress
We stress everybody staying in their gap responsibility, ... and also getting off blocks. We have to do a better job of disengaging from blocks.
imagination stretch work
We still have a lot of work to do. By no stretch of the imagination are we comfortable with what happened.
approach basic basically call lead run
They're very basic in their approach to the run game. They run what we call a power-O, a counter, some tosses and lead weaks. Those were basically the plays.
coming great judged last performance square
You're judged by your last performance each and every week. We had a great one coming out. Now we're back to Square One.
athletes definitely football gifted guys job playing regular special teams three tremendous
They do a tremendous job on special teams. They are three gifted athletes out there playing on special teams and they take it serious. Those are three guys who can definitely play football in regular situations.
played sad season team victory
After a victory like that it's great, but it's also sad because you think this is the team we could have been all season long and we could have played like this in other games.
backup great job prepare preparing thrown
I thought Angelo did well considering he was thrown in there with no notice. The one thing about being a backup is you have to prepare like you're about to play. He does a great job of preparing, and (linebackers coach) Don Blackmon does a great job of preparing the backups like starters.
reason seasons
For one reason or another we just didn't get the breaks. Sometimes you have seasons like that.
losing season
I know you can go from losing one season to celebrating at the podium.
