both good league six taking teams
We've had six (penalties) both nights, which I think is very good under the new terms. You look around the league there's been 12, 14. Teams are taking that many penalties, and we don't want to be in that category.
bit special task teams
We weren't up to the task on the special teams. Their special teams were a little bit better than ours.
early game minutes notice penalties puck taking talked team teams turn
Every game we play, every team we play, we've talked that teams are gunning for us. The first 15 minutes they may not even try to score. They're saying, 'Let's not turn the puck over, let's not give them any chances.' You notice teams aren't taking any penalties early in the game.
continue push road teams tough win
The road's been a pretty tough place for most of the teams in this league. We just want to continue to push and continue to win these road games.
attitude desire fearless full guy ice keeps nights player straight teams trouble
As a team, there's nights when you need his enthusiasm, you need that desire to go through anybody. His fearless attitude on the ice is something that keeps other teams on their toes. There's nights you just can't have another player do that. He's full bore, straight ahead, and the first guy there when there's trouble for any of his teammates.
both chips exceed expect fall hit physical talking teams using
They're probably talking about the hit and using the hit as motivation. I expect both teams to be physical ... we're up for every challenge. At the end of the game, our will has to exceed their will and the chips are going to fall where they may.
continue dealt nine teams
There's eight, nine teams that have dealt with more than us. We've dealt with our share, and I think most teams will continue to deal with it. It's how you get through it that counts.
developing good players teams
We may be developing some players that end up being good players on other teams because we just have too many right now.
momentum played power special teams threw
We played them pretty even for most of the game. But our power play struggled, and that threw a lot of momentum off because it was all special teams early.
force gave lead mistakes style teams
With the style they play and the goaltender they got it's a very low-chance affair. The mistakes teams make they capitalize, and we gave them the lead right off the start. That let them play their style, and we didn't force them out of it.
faith ownership
I'm very appreciative from ownership all the way down, the faith they've shown,
decided four games guys handle hurt minute playoff series three wear
In a long series, they're going to wear down all our old guys. I think our young guys can handle a long series. You look around at every playoff series, they're not decided in three games and they're usually not decided in four games. Not for a minute do I think a long series will hurt our team.
looking
I'm not a doctor, but he's looking at 20 to 30 stitches,
game happy liked played sound
I liked the way he played the game. He really had a sound game. I'm getting happy with where the team's at right now.
