Lindy Cameron Ruffis a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Ruff is the current head coach for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League. During his playing career, Ruff played in the NHL for the Buffalo Sabres and New York Rangers. Ruff was previously the head coach of the Sabres from 1997 to 2013 and won the Jack Adams Award as Coach of the Year in 2006...

I thought it was cheap, I thought he went low at the knees. It may not be the dirtiest hit ... but he didn't have to go low. He's known for that. He's a cheap shot artist.

We've warned our guys. He's a guy that you can burn, but he can hurt you if you don't have your wits about you when he's on the ice because he's going to come running, and if you're not ready for it . . . I've seen some tremendous hits out of him this year.

When you see a guy hit his head that hard, you're worried about one thing: a concussion. But he had nothing along that line.

They're probably talking about the hit and using the hit as motivation. I expect both teams to be physical ... we're up for every challenge. At the end of the game, our will has to exceed their will and the chips are going to fall where they may.

I've said all year long we'll take the schedule one game at a time. It's an important game. Is it the biggest game of the year? Well, on our schedule it's next, so it is the biggest game for us.
