looking motion puck range shooting taylor week
He's shooting the puck pretty well. The range of motion and everything's good. Taylor I would put in the day-to-day category, but you're probably looking more at a week to 10 days.
kept seeing
He's seeing doctors, and we'll see where we'll go. In all likelihood, we feel it's that direction. That's why we've kept him out.
healthy team weeks
He's sore. . . . Could he play? I think if it was a do-or-die situation, we may take the chance. But we need a healthy team weeks from now, not right now.
days definitely feeling free generally seven symptom
He still wasn't feeling well today, from dizziness, generally foggy. He definitely will be in that concussion category, where at least for seven days he's going to have to go symptom free (before he can skate), and it could be longer.
beginning finish game league level sees tries work year
He sees the game a little differently sometimes. Some of the things he tries at this level will work in the American League but won't work here. But if you told me at the beginning of the year he'd finish with 25, 26 goals, I'd be happy.
gifted player
He's probably the most all-around gifted player I've been around.
decide explain five gotta guy judge kicked reviews took video
I don't know how their video judge can decide that in one second. Somebody's gotta explain that to me. We've had reviews where it's been five minutes. That took two seconds, and the guy kicked it in. Come on.
career center determined fits liked player plays three
I don't know if his career was going nowhere. They liked him there, but here he's been a more determined player in all three zones. He fits the way we play here, and when he plays center he's able to play in any situation.
body camp coming determination expect offensive passion saw training
I didn't even expect it coming through training camp. But what I saw in training camp was passion and desperation. It had nothing to do with his offensive skills. It was a determination to put his body on the line. He just jumped right out.
wanting watched
He thought he could finish. But when I watched the first one with him not wanting to go down, I could tell he was favoring it.
areas counted determined flashy good key nod picture player situations team thinks wants
He's a player now that is a lot more determined to be good in all areas of the ice. He really wants to be part of the big team picture and be counted on in important situations, not just the flashy offense. He wants the nod in the key situations where he thinks now that he can make a difference.
anxious cleared dose giving good later physical rule stuff
He's anxious to play. He's cleared for physical stuff in practice, which we're giving him a pretty good dose of today. . . . I wouldn't rule him out for later in the week.
change reason
I don't see any reason to change anything, no.
afford might totally
I don't think they can afford it, first of all, to get back in the series. I think you might be surprised. It just might be totally the other way.
