advantage coach depth halftime hard points remember score strength transition
That's our strength. We didn't have many fast-break points that I can remember in the first half. We had to take advantage of our transition game. That's where we score a lot. Coach told us at halftime we have so much depth and we have to play hard enough to use it.
ball double fly leave man shot swear time
Every shot she had someone in her face. Any time she got the ball I swear I'd leave my man and fly to try to double her.
calm figure work
We had to calm down and figure out what was going to work for us, so we started to work it inside, use our penetration, and then we went on a run.
experience feed home whether
We have experience on this team. We're used to big games, we're used to big crowds. We actually feed off that whether it's an away big game, or a home big game.
almost great inside job knocked knocking mainly moving shot shots
They knocked down almost every shot they took. They did a great job of moving the ball, going inside and just mainly knocking down the shots and knocking down big shots when it counted.
deny door follow open touch tried trying
I tried not to let her touch the ball. I was trying to follow her and deny her the ball. The only thing that was open was the back door but they didn't look for that.
ball gaps move open pressure remember skip zones
They're really active, and they like to put pressure on the ball, but you've still got to remember that it's just a zone, and all zones have weaknesses. You can penetrate it, skip the ball in and move it into the gaps -- you can get open shots.
flips gymnastics took
I took gymnastics for years. I told everyone if we win, I'll do back flips up and down the court.
friends-or-friendship knew left people wait
Some people went home, and I went out with friends. All of us left campus, and I just knew that I could not wait to get back to practice.
sleep
We can't sleep on them; we have to play hard.
jumping
We were kind of jumping up and down.
depth fast push seemed time touched
Every time I touched the ball, I was going to push it as fast as I could. We had so much depth that we could keep going and going. It seemed like we never got tired.
game hurts knowing reason win
It hurts not to win the game knowing you had it. There's no reason we shouldn't have (won it).
expected seemed
I expected them to make a comeback. They're Tennessee. But we had so much depth, we were able to keep going and going and going. It seemed like we never got tired.
