decide decision hopefully rash ready rest start training year
I would never make a rash decision over one match. I'll decide how much I'll play for the rest of the year and hopefully I'll feel ready to go and start training for Australia,
feeling felt incredible last tough year
It felt like it's been so long. It's an incredible feeling after the tough year last year,
along number player point year
But I've said all along one you get to this point in the year, really you see at the end of the year who the number one player is.
belt exciting nice obviously win year
It's nice to come out on top, especially in a year that I didn't think that would be the case, ... Obviously it is very exciting to win here after I have been here so many years. It is nice to have this under my belt going into the U.S. Open.
bizarre chance fate feeling felt four hands last year
It's great, ... It's really, really a bizarre feeling to put your fate in other people's hands so to speak. It's unbelievable to do it four times. I wouldn't have felt last year that I have a chance to do that again.
body control grow learn next shots sure top year
But I think in the next year or so she's really going to take control and grow into her body and learn all her shots and really be for sure a top 10 player.
committed course fact finish focus good grand matches mean mine mission proud season slam title top win year
It's not a mission of mine to end the year No.1. I know if I win everything I have a very good chance, but I just want to focus on the matches I have to win and the tournaments that I'm committed to for the remainder of this year. Of course I'd take another Grand Slam title over the No.1 ranking any day, but I am proud of the fact that I'll probably finish another season at least in the Top Three. That's no mean feat.
mine mission year
Its not a mission of mine to end the year No.1,
excited win year
I am very excited I was able to win here, my first year here,
gets grand maybe proud top tough year
I'm really proud of myself that I'm so consistent. But it gets tough to be at the top year after year and not have one of the Grand Slams. Maybe I'll still get lucky.
thinking light years
I'm going with the flow. I feel when the time is right to stop, it will be flashing in neon lights for me, like this is it. It could be this year, it could be next year, I have no idea. Anyone in their profession seems to think it's fairly clear when it's the right time. I haven't had that moment of clarity.
good mess opponent people seen situations
I've seen people come back from these situations before and she's a good opponent and I didn't want to mess around.
bit demanding great loss today toughest worn
I still feel a little worn down, ... It was a great but demanding two weeks. I started to feel a bit better today but getting over a loss like that is probably the toughest thing you have to do.
definitely gets older playing tougher
I started playing tournaments at 15 and I'm 29 now. It definitely gets a lot tougher as you get older and older.
