best break helps played playing start stretch whenever
Whenever you're out there playing a final, the best start you can get off to, it only helps you. I was able to get up that first break at 2-1 and then I played really, really well for a stretch of games.
almost bit came helps hours knowing obviously problems quite second since time tougher
I haven't had any problems since I came back the second time this summer. Every other day helps quite a bit as well, knowing that I now have almost probably 48 hours before I play again. It's obviously much tougher when you've got back-to-back-to-back matches.
against believe compete couple draw help players top tough
I don't necessarily believe that everyone here is 100 percent. But everyone in the draw is really what we need. I think as the players get more healthy, and the top players get to compete against each other more and more, it's really going to help our sport. We've had a tough couple years.
good mess opponent people seen situations
I've seen people come back from these situations before and she's a good opponent and I didn't want to mess around.
bit demanding great loss today toughest worn
I still feel a little worn down, ... It was a great but demanding two weeks. I started to feel a bit better today but getting over a loss like that is probably the toughest thing you have to do.
definitely gets older playing tougher
I started playing tournaments at 15 and I'm 29 now. It definitely gets a lot tougher as you get older and older.
bit time
I sprained it a little bit the other day. It was just a little bit swollen. ... I kind of jammed it on one shot. Hopefully, it will have a little time to get better.
dealt injuries optimistic past worse
I've dealt with much worse injuries and things in the past so I'm pretty optimistic that it will heal.
concern fortunate injury last six weeks
I've been really fortunate in the last six weeks that I haven't had an injury that has hampered my preparation. It's been a concern in the past.
eight expect seven weeks wrong
It would be wrong of me to expect I can come back after seven or eight weeks and be perfect,
believe hear people playing sets three women
People believe what they believe. You hear about women playing only three sets while men play five,
both felt second sloppy win
Both of us got a little sloppy in the second set. It felt really tiring. I felt like I got to win in two sets.
