fair grand
At these Grand Slams, we play on 20 courts. Is it fair to have it only on the one big-match court?
compete court definitely exciting force four grand slam three winners
It definitely would make it more exciting if three of the four Grand Slam winners were here. You can't force someone to go out on the court when they don't feel like they want to compete at this level.
achieve again girls grand lindsay
I want to play those grand slams again and I want to be able to play girls like Lindsay in the grand slams there are still so many things that I would like to achieve in tennis.
coming definitely grand players seeing seven six younger
We definitely are seeing more and more players coming through. A lot of the younger players are doing well. Now there are six or seven players who could take a Grand Slam.
grand judged slam title titles win
I want to win this title again. I think that you are really, at the end of the day, judged on how many Grand Slam titles you have, and probably how many titles you have.
build coming days forget grand great losing tennis win
I will never forget Wimbledon, it is something that I don't want to forget, ... There was great disappointment in losing that, but the great thing about tennis is that you have more tournaments and more Grand Slams. I have another one coming up in two days and I am going to try to win it and build some more memories.
committed course fact finish focus good grand matches mean mine mission proud season slam title top win year
It's not a mission of mine to end the year No.1. I know if I win everything I have a very good chance, but I just want to focus on the matches I have to win and the tournaments that I'm committed to for the remainder of this year. Of course I'd take another Grand Slam title over the No.1 ranking any day, but I am proud of the fact that I'll probably finish another season at least in the Top Three. That's no mean feat.
gets grand maybe proud top tough year
I'm really proud of myself that I'm so consistent. But it gets tough to be at the top year after year and not have one of the Grand Slams. Maybe I'll still get lucky.
good mess opponent people seen situations
I've seen people come back from these situations before and she's a good opponent and I didn't want to mess around.
bit demanding great loss today toughest worn
I still feel a little worn down, ... It was a great but demanding two weeks. I started to feel a bit better today but getting over a loss like that is probably the toughest thing you have to do.
definitely gets older playing tougher
I started playing tournaments at 15 and I'm 29 now. It definitely gets a lot tougher as you get older and older.
bit time
I sprained it a little bit the other day. It was just a little bit swollen. ... I kind of jammed it on one shot. Hopefully, it will have a little time to get better.
dealt injuries optimistic past worse
I've dealt with much worse injuries and things in the past so I'm pretty optimistic that it will heal.
concern fortunate injury last six weeks
I've been really fortunate in the last six weeks that I haven't had an injury that has hampered my preparation. It's been a concern in the past.
