close deep eight five last matches people state surprised won yeah year
Considering we only got five to state last year and with how deep that sectional was, yeah I think we surprised some people to get eight out of that sectional. I think we wrestled well and won a lot of close matches and that's how you get down to state.
blood certainly kids match past season strong talented teams
A lot of the traditionally strong teams are here again, and some new blood is in there too. When I look at Franklin, I see a young team that has some talented kids and has been here before. They're a team we certainly can't look past because this is a one match season now.

This was a pretty special night. As far as I can remember, this is the most we've had in the state finals.

Three state champion and seven medalists, we're pretty blessed. We had a great weekend and I'm not sure what else I can say about it.
close exciting great knew sweet victory won
I never thought of this being a sweet 16, but it is. This was great victory because we knew Merrill was going to battle. It was a great victory and exciting match. Merrill won some close ones and so did we.
