We know we've got what it takes. It's not even a question. It's just a question of how much we want it. We've got to come out and play as hard as we can, and everybody has to be on the same page.

You have to show a little respect (for the opposition). But I guess we started a little early. It was a fun time.

I would never take it back. I'm glad I made that decision. It helped me grow as a person and playing in that basketball league helped me get much stronger and more confident in my game.

We know they're a big team, they have a real strong inside and they have good guard play. We know we have to play tough. I think anything can happen. That's the way I play basketball. Anybody can be beaten.

I was so focused on listening to coach that I didn't even think to put my jersey on.

There are times I'll come back to the bench and my bag is all ripped open with one piece of candy left, so the other guys get their fair share.

We've played in tough games ourselves and tough atmospheres. You've got to give credit to those (Vermont) guys and you've got to respect them, but at the same time, we're all basketball players and we've all been in hostile environments.

It's something that gives me a lot more energy at times. Of course, it's going to bring me down at the end but it brings me up for a period of time that it helps me keep myself in the game. A game like this at the Division I level, you need a little energy.

It's hard to get up every day and practice hard knowing you might end up 5-23. But the guys that we had and the coaches never quit on us. Everybody just showed us love and kept pushing every day. That's what it took.

I want to play them again. I feel that they basically hit our pressure points in the two games we played.
hurt limit
It really hurt at the end of the game. But the sky's the limit for this school. They're going in the right direction.

We still had to show our respect to Vermont because they came out and played hard and they're a respectful team. They're a team that's built their history, too, so you've got to respect those guys.
