basketball confident developed good intend move next program spirit team unity year
We intend to have a good basketball team next year and I feel confident that we will. We've developed the unity and spirit it's going to take to move the program to the next level.
behind cant coming excited game grow learn lose move next opponent tough win
With each game you play, if you win it, you cant let yourself get too excited because there is another tough opponent coming right behind it. And if you lose it, you cant wallow in self-pity, you have to put that behind you, learn from it, and grow and then move on to the next game.
close difficult guy move officials throw time top
It's very difficult to throw over a (6-10) guy that close right on top of you like that. Most of the time the officials will tell you to move back a little bit, but that wasn't the case.
believe chance fact fully mindful move row team tough understand
We still believe we have a chance to be a team of significance in the ACC, but we're mindful of the fact we still have a tough row to hoe. We fully understand where we are and what we have to do to move ahead.
direction move stage stretch successful team trying uncharted waters
We are kind of venturing into uncharted waters for our team in this stage of the development of our program. It's very important for us to be successful down the stretch because this is the direction we're trying to move our program.
along fact highs lows move ourselves preparing process recognize time totally toward
We totally recognize the fact that now it's time to move on and move toward preparing ourselves ... to play in the NIT. This is part of the development process of any team. You go through the highs and lows and disappointments along the way.
basketball fact fine game good graduation happy helped home last model move percent program proud rate
I'm very happy and proud for them because they've been model citizens. They keep our 100 percent graduation rate intact. But more than anything they're fine people. They're good basketball players, but I'm most proud of the fact that they have helped us move our program forward. Their last home game will be something to remember.
character game hung team test

ahead best quite room team
The thing that I like about this team is that we still are a team that has a lot of room for improvement. We are getting better in all areas. We're not quite there yet. But our best basketball, I think, is ahead of us.
chance continue fragile jump proven start window
I've been around long enough to know how fragile it can be. We need to continue to get better. We haven't proven anything yet ? not enough to start relaxing. We've got a chance ? a window of opportunity. We've got to jump through it.
conversation hug love support
Sometimes you don't really know what to say because conversation sometimes makes it worse. You just have to give a person a hug and tell him you love him, you support him and be there for them.
few guys record reflect
At the end of day, the record won't reflect guys weren't available, someone was sick. At the end of the year, we need to have a few more Ws.
absolutely particular
At this particular point, I don't have absolutely any say in the criteria. That's already been determined, and me making any speculation right now would be just that - speculation.
defended few game plays
Diaz and Hite were too much for us. When the game was on the line, I think they made a few more plays than we did. You have to give Diaz and Hite credit. They were defended about as well as you could defend them.
