We've spoken all year. We all just talk about just trying to lead our team. We're not saying all the way to the finals, but when I say lead our team, that's just going out and doing the right thing, on the court and off the court.
We didn't want to get embarrassed on national television. We have pride. We are all competitors.
We didn't want to get blown out. We didn't want to get embarrassed. We must have done something right (in the second half).
We didn't want to get blown out or get embarrassed, being that it's an Eastern Conference team. We picked it up.
We didn't want to get blown out on national TV. I just wanted to be assertive and just try to hit the open shots and drive to the basket, which I'm always capable of doing. So the MVP was never in my mind; just winning the ballgame.
We didn't want to get blown out on national TV. All in all, this is a game and we just want to have fun, but you know we're all competitors and our competitive nature kicked in at one point.
We didn't trust our teammates as much as we should have in the fourth quarter. If they are going to double-team me, I'm going to give up the ball. We're just not knocking down shots.
I think Charles Barkley kick-started us. I heard at halftime he said the game was over. I'd like to thank Charles for kick-starting us.
It doesn't make us worried. We know if we face them in the first round or face them later in the playoffs we'll be ready for them.
Record-wise and going into the playoffs, we can't improve. I'm trying to get as much rest as I can. I don't want to try to force the action by playing on an ankle that's not 100 percent.
It had something to do with it. I couldn't get as much lift, enough spring when I wanted to drive and penetrate and my shot got blocked a couple of times.
It got to a point where it was kind of mental. I've got to regroup.
It is nothing serious. It was a pretty good sprain, but it ranks up there.
(The All-Star Game is) over and done with. We have to come in (tonight) and concentrate on Orlando. We've been (above .500) a couple times this year. We haven't been 11 or 12 games (over .500). It's time to make a run. We have a different mindset from last year.
