ask continue guys playing since unfair
Right now it probably would be unfair to him and we kind of want to continue to give other guys an opportunity. It would be a lot to ask of him after not playing since January.
beyond guy hardest jason leader player selfless team unselfish wants worker
Those things are beyond our control; we know on our team what he means. Jason makes this whole thing work. He's the pied piper. As a coach, he's unbelievable to have - a leader who is your most unselfish player and your hardest worker ... The guy is selfless and he really wants to win.
defensive high starts
When we play at a high level, it starts on the defensive end.
best help selfless takes team whatever
Vince is such a selfless guy. He'll do whatever it takes to help the team win. It's never about Vince. It's about what's best for the team.
bench gave guys huge minutes played win
We went out to win the game. Our bench guys played big minutes and gave us a huge lift.
good jump
Let's not just all jump in and say: What's up with Vince Carter? He had a day, you know? You've got to take the good with the bad.
healthy opponent ready trying whoever
We're just trying to get healthy so that whoever our first-round opponent is we're ready to roll.
players team
There are no excuses. We've got enough players on our team to play better than that.
good guys helps people
I think morale-wise it's big. More guys were involved, helps probably more people feel good about themselves.
break defense defensive forcing four good left played seconds shoot shots since three
It hasn't been since the (All-Star) break where we were able to come out and do what we did to make it 8-0, and it started on the defensive end. We played really good defense in the first half, forcing them to shoot some shots with just three or four seconds left on the shot clock.
best denver experience fortunate good guys jason last mental mind minutes played plays shows teams win worked
I think this win shows our mental toughness, because it's mind over matter. You have Jason Kidd who played 46 minutes last night, and then plays 40 tonight. This is something our guys can look back on and is a good experience for this team. Denver is one of the best homecourt teams in the league. Things worked for us. We got fortunate that Carmelo got hurt.
against good rival win
That was a good win against a divisional rival on the road.
couple effective free high huge hurt level line played throw
Jermaine was huge and played at a very high level and hurt us in a couple of different ways, especially getting on the free throw line and being effective in the post.
jason leader totally
Jason makes this whole thing work. You take him out of the equation, it's a totally different view. He's an unbelievable leader who imposes his will on the game.
