We were looking first to win (the state meet). We knew Orem would be good, and that Springville would be in there. And then we also wanted to do well against 5A schools. And so I scheduled every 5A school that I could get.

We have not won an event, and we're winning the meet. We're winning it with our depth so far, but there's another day of swimming.
good great guys lots top win won
It's good to get these guys over the hump. We didn't win an event, and we won the meet. That's what they've been about all year. They're a great team, and that's why we won. From top to bottom, we had lots of guys that scored points.
good kid win won
We didn't win because we had one kid that was a superstar. We won because we had a lot of good swimmers. That's how you do it in this sport.

We're young. We only had one senior who made it to state. The rest are juniors and sophomores. We'll be back.
