She's thrown two days in a row, and that's a really good sign. She's worked hard to get her arm in shape where she could do that.
ball hit seemed time
We just didn't play well. Every time we hit a ball it seemed like it went right at someone.
feeling gets kids quiet rest soon
She's a real quiet kid, but she ignites us by getting us going. The rest of the kids, as soon as they see her get on they know, done deal, she's going to score, and who's going to be next? It's that kind of feeling we get when she gets on.

She had a great game; it's good to have her back. She may be only able to throw one game per day (because of a shoulder injury), but it's good to have her back.

She has been just hot; she has been swinging a great bat. When we went to Boise, she hit line drive after line drive after line drive.

She has a hot bat right now. We booted the ball around.
adversity bit building effort faced good kids league proud ready run weekend
We need to get all our kids healthy. Then we'll be set and ready to make our run (in league play). We faced a bit of adversity this weekend and that is good for building our character. I was proud of our effort and the kids.
But other than that, she had them guessing.

I told them we were never going to play like that again, as long as I'm the head coach. That was such an aberration.

It was a great win because we turned it on when we had to. We just finally started hitting. It was a great win because we showed the character and came back, because we were flat.
