Muhsin played well and made some plays, ... I thought the other receivers played well and (running back Thomas) Jones played really well. Muhsin is a veteran guy who has been there and played in big games before.
I think I played real solid, ... Maybe only two passes I'd like to have back. And that's pretty good when you're playing a full football game. I made good decisions. I thought I got the ball out of my hands quick and really knew the situations I was in.
I haven't proven anything yet. This is preseason football and I think I'm playing pretty well, but we haven't even played Game 1. We'll see what we do in the regular season.
I haven't proved anything yet. I'm playing pretty well, but we haven't even played game one.
I played like crap, ... I had a chance to make plays and didn't do it. The result of that is us losing the game. I didn't make good decisions. You can't play like that, turn the ball over five times, and expect to win. I'm not gonna put this on me being young.
I'm not going to put this on my being young or anything. I played like crap today, and that's basically what I'm going to put it on.
They confused me. They're a solid defense. I'm not going to put this on me being young or anything. I played like crap today.
He played well. Moose is that veteran guy that has played in big games before. He's big for our offense.
Whenever anybody blitzes, ... there are certainly chances to make plays, whether it be down the field or hitting the crease or whatever, and I think I can see it.
We're resilient. We don't let a lot of things bother us. There's a lot going on and people making too much of what it is. We have a lot of football to go. I think we're just hitting our stride and really can get on a roll here.
To get that play and come into the halftime at 7-3 instead of 3-0 was huge emotionally.
But I've got an excuse, ... Well, actually two. I'm a rookie, and I play for the Bears.
I'd like to make teams pay for not taking me. Maybe that will fade eventually, but for now, it still stings.
Obviously, we got off to a good start on the first play. It's kind of tough when you know you're only going to be playing a couple of series; you want to make so much happen in that little time. I got too aggressive and threw that pick, but all in all, I think it went pretty well.
