bit car gain great hope job maybe second situations start trying
There have been some instances where I've put my car in situations where maybe I should have thought a little bit differently about. But that's any driver. It's all about trying to gain respect. That's something that's important to me. I hope I've done a great enough job on that. I'm only in the start of my second year, so there's still a little bit more to do.
sideways turn
We're not out to let back or do anything slouchy. If we've got to turn a little sideways to make a move, we'll do it.
built few learn race throughout
You can learn a few things. but it's more so throughout the race having adjustability built into your car.
laps race time
With about 40 laps to go, it's time to race and time to get after it and that's what I was doing. If I did something and aggravated Stewart, well, I'm sorry.
books books-and-reading exciting names record trying
We're trying to get there. It would be exciting to put our names in the record books as brothers.
busier heck
It's all a heck of a lot busier than I expected.
car far fight good none orders spot teammates though tight
It's one of the things that you fight though when your car is good enough to win, your teammates car is good enough to win, too. It's a tight spot to be in, but as far as the team orders or anything, there was none of that.
calls finished judgment
It's not that there were some (penalties called) that were or were not necessary. It's just that they are judgment calls that may or may not need to be made and they made them. We just have to go on. We finished where we finished.
boos brothers climbing close gets gordon jeff steadily whether
It's not whether you are getting boos or cheers, it's who gets the most noise. Right now it's close between Jeff Gordon and Dale Earnhardt Jr., but the Busch brothers are steadily climbing that rope.
hurt
It's probably hurt me more. Now I have to live up to his expectations. I have my own going for me now.
kurt people race silly snow statement talk texas weather win
You talk like Kurt and I are wrecking people intentionally. That's ludicrous! That's absurd! That statement is about as silly as someone celebrating a race win in 80-degree weather in Texas with a snow angel.
stripe wait yellow
No, I still have that yellow stripe on. You have got to wait to take that off.
crushed weird win
It's weird that this is where my first win would come. I was crushed by that 2001 ruling. But this makes up for it.
course early far incident involved
It's very frustrating to be involved in an incident like this so early in the race, and of course everything that's been circled around me and everything else so far this year.
