couple game offense thinking tough understand
I can kind of go out there and play the game now, vs. over-thinking everything. The first couple years, it is tough to get rhythm, and you are thinking about a lot of different things. Now I have the offense down pat. I understand defenses.

Obviously, the confidence is there. But I've done the same thing each week, and that's continue to work. Maybe a couple of different things of going through the game plan. I did that this week, but really just the same stuff I've been doing. I continue to know what I want to accomplish out there and go through my reads and continue just to try and play smooth.

It's apparent they bring pressure. Just getting the ball out of your hands, you can't afford to take sacks, can't turn the ball over, all things that you're going to lose games if you do that stuff. We've got to make sure on Sunday night that those things don't happen.

It's tough, but you know, you've got to turn those boos into cheers. I have another opportunity to use this preseason game to go out there and make our offense be productive. Hopefully when we come back here next week, there will be cheers instead of boos.
felt game means relaxed
This means a lot especially with what I've been going through. I felt this game I was going to go out there and play relaxed and smooth...(and) let the game come to me.
eliminate game good guys
This game is important for us to get back on track. When we've got 11 guys doing the right thing, we're a dang good offense. We just have to eliminate the mistakes.

It can be frustrating to watch our offense. But that's us right now. And you know what? Once we get over that hump and those bad things stop happening to us in the red zone, we're going to be unstoppable. With our defense, it's going to be fun. It's going to be real fun. Until then, we keep fighting and keep winning games our way.

This is my offense, ... It's going to be my job this year to rally the guys. Our passing game has struggled in the past, but that's the past. We have the future to look forward to. If I'm not a leader, then we have a problem.

We gotta stay out of third and long. We have to give ourselves a chance. It's tough to convert on long distances. We'll just have to watch the tape. We still have a long season to go. We have to correct our mistakes and get better.

I've never had any foot problems before. It's concerning because it's my plant foot.

We did a great job on the offensive line. I give myself a B (grade). We just have to do this all the time.

Right now, it's my job and my responsibility to support (Wright) and help him out. It's about this team and about winning. Anything I can do to help him, I'm going to do. He did when I was out there.
