He's doing great. It was a good conversation, ... I think there will be a lot of conversation before the game. We're still close. We all still love each other. It's going to be weird being on the other side of the football, but it's going to be fun and exciting as well.
We have to get the ball in the end zone. It's tough to win kicking field goals.
I want to win some Super Bowls, and so that's really my focus, to do whatever I have to do to lead this team to a championship,
I still think we have a lot of work to do, but guys are getting more comfortable and coming into their own. We have a lot of guys mixing in and out of the offensive line. You're talking basically the fourth center we've had in four games.
That was huge, to get back in that rhythm early, ... That's what really set us apart. We had to get back to that attitude and that mentality and start making those plays early in the game.
That's what every quarterback wants, ... Just go out and play and not have to look over your shoulder.
Yeah, I think, yeah, in New York it was really a chance to showcase what I could still do and try to present myself with an opportunity like here in Arizona, ... It's where I can play the game the way I wanted to and hopefully write my own story.
We had it set up. We just didn't make it happen. We have to be more consistent.
With the talent I've been around, and I've been around a lot of talent, this team matches up very favorably with the talent that I've been around.
We haven't hit on all cylinders just yet and we want to try to get that accomplished and at least be going into the regular season with the confidence that I think this team should have. We have the capabilities to be very good but a lot of the time you have question marks and you don't play quite up to your potential.
We needed to get back to the mistake-free, care-free, fun-loving football that we're used to playing, ... This has got to give us a lot of confidence.
You know, ... I'm pretty sure I'm going to be an Arizona Cardinal.
It's going (to depend) on his confidence to get up, snap and put it in the right spot time and time again, ... But it's more the confidence and the quickness to learning with your off hand. Try and brush your teeth with your left hand. It's not as easy as it sounds.
It's funny because I've played against so many guys that I've played with over the years the last two weeks, ... It's probably not going to be any different. There's going to be some hugs and smiles before the game, but then you're going to get out there and battle.
