People who move here from other areas don't realize that some wild animals need a pretty wide berth in order to survive. They don't have many other places to go.

We didn't hit it as well as we thought we did in the first round. We were kind of shocked, but we were going up against really good teams.

With hawks being in the news, there probably will be a lot of interest in them this year.

It's educational, but it's also a lot of fun, too. Hopefully, people will go away with a more sympathetic attitude toward the wild animals they do encounter.
journey rarity rest
It's kind of a rarity in that we only see them briefly while they rest up for their journey northward. After April, they're all pretty much gone.
