And sometimes, you need your knight in shining armour,
There are a lot of charismatic people in this industry ... and I can understand why people on location get together.
My mom raised me so wonderfully. She gave me self esteem and made me appreciate my flaws, as well as my strengths.
My mom lived a much different airline experience, ... She was working Lufthansa in first class. So it was about passing out the caviar. Claire in this movie was a little bit more blue collar. But the one thing I did figure out is that Claire imagines her life as being as glamorous as my mom's airline life was many years ago.
I was excited to do a movie like this because the part is done for you. It's a beautifully-written character. A lot of times you're making it up as you go.
I was comfortable with the words, ... Most times I find myself trying to rewrite parts of my character, but not this time.
Tobey can cry just like that. Whenever I have a crying scene, I have to listen to sad music, put my headphones on and kind of zone out.
It was horrible, I hated it. Brad and Tom were like my big brothers on the set, so it was like kissing your big brother - totally gross.
We spent a month on that scene and it goes by in a minute.
It wasn't painful -- let's put it that way -- but it's not the way I'd choose to make out with somebody.
It was funny, during the making of this movie I was really sad because you're not getting anything back and you're giving so much to so many other people. I feel like that's the way Claire was. She spends a lot of time on other people, giving people advice and learning about people; and she doesn't really take care of herself in that way.
They're the ones who saw 'Titanic' eight times, ... Those are the people who keep paying, and like, there really isn't other things for teen-agers to do -- especially when you live in certain places. There's the movie theater, there's the mall, and that's pretty much it.
She is honest and upfront to a fault. She doesn't have a lot of fear. She's dorky and doesn't care, and in that way she's cool.
May favorite food at the moment is Pasta, "with tons of shaved Parmesan on the side. Not crumbly but like the hunks, you know what I mean...when you get the thin slices.
