fought half hard second teams totally
We were two totally different teams out there from the first half to the second half. We fought hard and got back into it.
chance heads issue played playing push reason run stops whatever
We were able to get some stops and get out and run and for whatever reason we just started playing. I don't know if we were playing not to be embarrassed, but something went off in our heads and we played with no fear. I just wanted to get out and run to push the issue because really, that's the only way we had a chance to get back in the game.
front home nice turn
We have to turn it around and it'll be nice to be at home in front of our fans. We'll have a lot of energy.
beat good job run
We have to run him off his shot, we can't let him beat us. He's good but they have Wade, they have Shaq. We just have to do a better job on him.
bottom court definitely gotten home point rookie
It hasn't gotten to the point where it was like my rookie year, where we were getting booed every game, but it's definitely something we have to correct. It's just something we haven't done. We have to play a lot better on the home court -- that's the bottom line.
compete gone guard hopefully sets
We've gone over all their stuff, and hopefully we'll be able to guard their sets a lot better. But we just need to compete a lot harder.
both easier expect experience good huge last rookie second year
I expect a huge leap. They both had such good years last year, and you know from experience how much easier your second year is from your rookie year. We expect big improvements.
bit dug edge focus needed passion played together type
I wouldn't say we played that way the whole game, but for stretches we really dug down and did what we needed to do. We're a different type of team. We need a little bit of an edge for us to win. We don't have a superstar, so we have to focus on the little things, play with passion and play together as a group.
knew
I don't know what to tell you guys. You're on your own on this one, because we all knew it was a big game. There's no excuse.
coming guys knew looking
I don't know what to say. Coming in, we all knew this was a big game. There's no excuse. If you guys are looking for a reason, I don't know what to tell you.
defensive except explain ready team
I don't know what they shot, but we're a defensive team and should have had it on that end tonight. I really don't know how to explain it, except to say we weren't ready on that end.
both career court ends hope matter obviously playing point tough
Obviously (he's) a tough assignment, but at this point in my career I would hope to be playing on both ends of the court no matter who I am guarding.
feels finding killer last lose mistakes seemed ways whether year
Right now, it feels like we're finding ways to lose games. Whether it be making too many mistakes or fouling too much, it's frustrating. Last year it seemed like we had that killer instinct. It doesn't seem like we have that right now.
games position realize six
Six to 10 games ago, a lot of us didn't realize the position we were in.
