I hope we can keep as many guys as possible. I think good teams try to keep as many players together as they can. I understand it's probably hard to sign everybody, but I think we showed we can be a pretty good team.
I've got to think about our team and how we play. We've got lots of time to talk about this when we get back to Nashville.
Every time we get another win, we just get more confidence. I'll be honest and say I thought we were the better team. I've never been on a team this tight and together.
I've never been on a team that's so tight and together. Everybody's doing their job and working very hard and now this is a big thing we've done as a group for our country.
I've never been on a team that's so tight and together.
We knew special teams was going to be important.
We had a meeting about that before the first game. If you start thinking you miss this guy or you need that guy, you won't win. As a group, you can't worry about that. It's all about the team game.
Everyone has more confidence at home. We battle harder at home and we get some wins that way. We need to work harder overall, especially on the road. We need to play a simpler game. When you simplify and keep things low-scoring, then you have a chance to win.
Every time we play Sweden it's a big game, it doesn't matter if it's the world championships or an exhibition game.
Every game is big with only 23 to go, but (hosting Vancouver) is definitely one of the biggest. We can't afford to take any nights off.
To be honest, we did. You look at their lineup. It's a pretty good lineup.
I had kind of a dizzy feeling throughout the whole game. It's going to take some time, but there's nothing you can do but try to battle back and get ready for the next game.
It's not easy sometimes. You go into the corner on the ice, it's not easy to not think about what's going to happen in the future (in Nashville). I still see them as my teammates. But of course, you can't give up anything easy.
That's pretty big. That's a lot of points.
